There are many ways you can support SOK’s mission to preserve and promote the living heritage knitting of Shetland.

Spread the word about our work to those you know who appreciate knitting, textiles, heritage crafts, social justice, and history.

Financial support is always needed. While there are project-related grants available to SOK, finding support that covers needed operating costs is more difficult. Your direct financial support literally helps us keep the light on, covering things like training, insurance, general equipment and supply needs, and more goods and services that we cannot function without.
